The Toomerous - Sidecar

The toomerous was a novelty idea thought up by Jules and Ant to test the power of the Bue Flame and to see if we could get an easy way way of transporting two people without making a new vehicle. so one cold evening after school we opened up the garage and began to work on a new project which we named the Toomerous. In consisted of welding a load of lengths or rusty crappy metal together to form a sidecar shape.

It was all looking rather Good so we bolted it to the side of the Bue flame and I welded a stub axle to the left of the frame and then bolted the wheel on. she was looking sweet but it was getting dark so we quickly race up onto the road and get ready for a test run.

after attempting to push start it many times with both of us in and it not working we try with just the driver and then for the passenger to jump in once going..

This is when we discovered it is possibly the worst Grecet creation of all time. without a passenger in you could not do left turns without rolling the whole bike and with a passenger in the sidecar pulls the bue flame left uncontrollably... on the first real run I managed to hold a straight line for about 20 metres at almost full right lock before I lost control and we shot into a kerb and almost ripped the wheel of the sidecar. Thus the end of the toomerous. I cant find any photos probably as it wasn't around for long enough.
